I personally do not think unprovoked bullying, harassing, and name calling PM's sent by others should be kept private. I do no think it is a violation of the bully/abuser's privacy to expose the content. Often people who act out via PM do so so they can hide behind the label of the "privacy".

I liken PM bullying and the rule to keep it private to a batterer telling an abuse victim that they should keep the abuse to themselves and that they should put on long sleeve shirts so the bruises don't show.

THREAD SUMMARY ABOUT ZEKE SEARCH

Maureen got a lead that a neighbor was seen with a dog that looked like Zeke. When she interviewed the neighbor she thought it was suspicious that the dog was not there and that a child there saw Zeke's missing poster and said Zeke looked like his grandmother's dog "Tahoe". Maureen thought the child's father behaved strange when this happened.

Using information about the neighbors house and cars, I found out where the grandmother lived. Maureen went there and thought she saw several yorkies in what she thought were bad conditions. Of those Yorkies only ONE could have been Zeke that she saw, but she could not be sure if it was him or not.

Animal control and the police arrived and the conditions were not bad enough that they could enter the house and take any dogs or issue any citations. They could not help her check the one dog that looked like Zeke because no one was home and they would need a warrant without a consent search by the owner.

Animal control went the next day hoping to catch someone home so that the yorkie that Maureen thought was hers could be scanned. Maureen would be contacted if any dogs there were removed who had a chip in them that matched Zekes chip. Maureen was not called.

The next day, Maureen and I went to the house and knocked on the door. Two grandchildren let us in and we saw several mixed breed puppies form one litter, the mother of the puppies, not a yorkie and the father of the litter a yorkie. (I posted picutres of these animals) Maureen handled the animal and felt that it was not neutered. Based on this she knew it could not be Zeke. I asked one of the grandchildren what the dogs name was and he said "Tahoe".

We therefore know that a dog named "Tahoe" who she thought could be Zeke lead her to this location, and a dog named "Tahoe" who she felt and handled was not Zeke. That means this house is a dead lead.

I asked Maureen if it was possible that any other dog she had seen earlier could have been Zeke and she said no.

There is a discrepancy between us as to the conditions of the animals we observed at the house and of whom pictures have been posted on this thread. Despite this discrepancy, the conditions are not such that animal control would take any of the dogs who remain there and are not Zeke.
