My mom got a Dell laptop for Christmas last year and she loves it. The only problem she had with it was Windows Vista stunk. That wasn't Dells fault though, I think everyone had problems with Vista when it first came out. I agree with the 5 yr thing. Nothing seems to last very long anymore. I remember the TV we had when I was a kid and that thing lasted forever.
