I have a female miniature poodle who we have had for 11 years. She will sit with me in the car and lay on my side of the bed but when I go to sit by her at home or call her to me she goes the other way. With everybody else she lets them sit next to her and goes to them when called. I had heard boys were more affectionate, so that was all I needed to hear. So when we got our new puppy I got a boy.
