I owned one. He was the love of my life. They can be a grooming nightmare. Their hair parts down their back, then kicks up aound their hips. Must keep the hair away from their bottoms. They are very protective. They were used in Tibet for guard dogs for Royal Families. Their nickname is the Tibetan Lion. Very intelligent and playful. Not good with children. Very snappy with children. Mine was anyway.
