mine is really simple. i have an x-pen at the foot of my bed. in one end, I have a whelpng box that is only a rubbermaid clear under the bed storage box. i put what is called a "pish pad' in that. it is an absorbent peice of mat like stuff. no blankets, no towels or stuff like that. too easy for the puppies to get lost in. When the puppies get big enough to climb over the side of the whelping box, it is removed and they have the x-pen to roam around in. I keep the food and water in one end of it for mama and a pee pad in one corner. when the puppies start roaming around, I start taking mama out for a few minutes at a time. |
