i really wanted another female yorkie a while back but hubby refused to let me pay THAT much again. So I bought a male, just to breed to sophie. In the thoughts that I would keep the female pick of the litter and sell the rest.
After sophie was bred, I rehomed the male. Sophie had 4 pups and lost two I was just going to keep a girl but am way too attached to split them up so we are going to keep them both.
