I think NEWBORNS (even of the standards) look a bit like rats. Then I never was fond of newborn human babies either. I don't think most of them are cute either. They have funny shapped heads, smashed noses. I know it is hard work being born, but until they are a week or so old, I think they are usually pretty ugly. Good thing they get cuter as they get older! (both human babies and the puppies!)
