 Before you take him
Before you make the decision as to whether to take him or not, please consider the following:
Does he have ALL of his vacinnations
Is he old enough and big enough to be on flea/tick/mite/heartworm medications to protect him from these things far from home?
Does he eat well enough that if strange surroundings make him stressed, he will not get dehydrated or hypoglycemic?
Will he be exposed to close and/or large amounts of strangers, water sources, etc.
What if you want to go somewhere that he is not allowed, what type of arrangements are available?
All of the above should be carefully considered prior to your decision. |
