What a touching story . . . .makes me want to shut up.
I had been in the works of purchasing my pooch back in april, then found out my boyfriend of 6 years (since 9th grade of high school) had cheated on me. I thought that "great! Uno will be here soon, he'll cheer me up and things will be better". I love him dearly, but he has cause a lot of stress and sleepless nights. I know that it is going to take awhile for him to grow up, but should also cherish these moments of "puppy-ness". It seems as if I have a million frustrating moments to one good moment, but I live for those. He had peed on the floor again, was biting, would run from me when i'm trying to get him, but then later that day he learned the "sit" command. That made my week. Anyway, sorry I have strayed from this post, but it was nice to hear that it gets better in more ways than one.
