I've been feeding RAW for going on 5 years, now. Abigail has been eating RAW chicken legs since she was 9 weeks and 2.2 lbs. Of course, I had to help her, then. I do not recommend wings or chicken necks. The vertebrae in the necks can be a choking hazard. Better to give them something large enough they need to work at, than something small enough to snarf down without chewing. RAW bones are definitely good for teeth. My 13 y/o mix has beautiful white teeth, and neither of my dogs ever have stinky breathe. Unlike kibble, that leaves a residue on the teeth, RAW food is digested completely - because that's what their systems are designed to process. Also - rather than mixing kibble with the occasional RAW bone, why not just take the plunge and convert to feeding RAW meat and RAW meaty bones? Your dogs will love you for it.
