If your dog can go long and be comfortable, go for it..My dogs seem to be itchy at the beach so i buzzem in the summer and letem grow in the winter...Id love to have a show quality coat on either one...but I dont kid myself...Id rather have a clean shaven happy dog than a long scraggly, itchy one...if your dogs coat is worthy enough of growing out, do it...i would...
