Let's see, lol, I have had a Yorkie in my home for many yrs. now. My first was Ruffles and she weighed about 4 lb. when grown. I bred her once and got Pookie and he weighed about 5 1/2 lb. when grown. Then we got Corky and he was about 4 1/2. Next came Precious and she weighed about 2 3/4 when grown. Precious was very healthy till she was about 5. Then an enlarged heart started causing problems and she had to be put to sleep at 8years and a lot of money on vets. The vet advised me do NOT get the really small "baby face" yorkies because of health problems being much more common in the smaller ones. My current Yorkie is Shadow and she is 2 and a half and weighs just over 8 lbs. She is very healthy and active and pregnant. lol I had her bred over July 4th holiday and will be a grandparent around Sept. 1st!! I am really excited. (I probably sound silly. lol)
