i have 2 other types of dog with down ears they tend to get ear infections more often the drops and ear cleaning meds are cheap also plucking extra ear hair will help prevent this. and when i get done bathing them i take the blow drier and blow it in their ears for a couple of seconds that helps to prevent ear infections.
