. Just remember...they're very different from any other animal that you've had before. I had to get used to having a dog after having birds for so long, hehe....dh got mad at me b/c when Max wasn't housetrained as quickly as I expected (it only took me a few hours with my one parrot), I said "well, he's very cute, but he's certainly not as smart as a parrot".....of course, I said this out of his earshot
. Now, I think he's pretty smart after all.....but he still hasn't learned how to say "I love you" in English....but I know he means it
