That sounds like my in-laws!!! We cut off all contact with them over a year ago...they live like 2 blocks away. THey are really crazy though. It was for the best that we not allow them to see our children. My mother-in-law lets "crack heads" stay in her house just so she can get their foodstamp card!!!!!!
I know some people will not agree with me for banning them from seeing my children, but I dont want my children around people like my in laws.
