You need to move to a "random" reinforcement schedule. TO learn how to do this - I strongly recommend reading Karen Pryor's "Don't Shoot the Dog." Also an internet search on 'Bob Baily" and "operant conditioning" and "random reinforcement" will give you lots of hits and useful information.
