This is definitely the best decision I have ever made. I haven't even started yet and it has already done wonders for my self esteem. I LOVE school. I am one of those people who could make a career out of being a student. lol

My grandma has ALWAYS been materialistic and obsessed w/looks. She believes in order to be successful in life you have to have a man. In order to get and keep a man you have to look good. Money, men, and good lucks are all that is important in life according to her.

Luckily for me, my mom is nothing like that. She enjoys learning too. I'm glad I am like my mom.

I mean, I'd like to have money, and I wouldn't mind losing the extra weight I've put on the past couple years. I'd just rather do it on my own and not have to depend on a man for it. No offense to my DH. I just need to know that should anything ever happen to him, I'll be able to take care of myself and the kidlets.
