well you want the first ingredients to be meat.. so if the Eagle's first is corn i'd say NO WAY!!!! you want whole ingredients, like chicken, lamb, fish... Layla is homefed but because we have to travel and sadly do need to use kibble occasionally, we just tried the new Orijen. There is no corn of wheat or rice... there are actually no grains.. just whole meat ingredients and veggies. If your store has it you should check it out.. i got a small 400 g trail bag for 2 dollars!!! whcih little do they know will feed our pups for weeks!!!!
