Oh my goodness! I have been crying off an on all day. When we got up this morning I noticed that Mattie right eye was all matted with goop an shut. First thing I thought was.. Oh now, she has an eye infection. I got a warm water wash cloth and tried to get what I could of the goop off. She cried all the time. I waited till 9:00 to call my vet. She said to bring her right in. I was crying in her office. She took some drops and looked into her eyes an right away said.. She has an ulcer right smack dab center in her eye.
I asked her what could have happened. I never noticed it last night.. Her and Max was just playing away an running all over. She said it could have happened then. Anything could have happen. She could have done it herself.. or Max could have scratched her with his toenails .. or etc. I feel so bad.. he gave her an antibiotic and eye salve.. I feel so bad for my baby. She must be feeling better because I caught her in the act of tearing up kleenex in shreds an little pieces. I took some pictures because she is ! you can't scold her.
Enjoy the pictures an Say a Prayer for my little girl that it will heal okay. I take her back in a week if I think it's not getting better .
