Yes, petzlife will help ALOT with potty breath. I don't think it's the flavor of the spray dogs hate, perhaps the sound?? Who knows.....if yours can tolerate brushing, go for the gel since it's more effective for plaque/tarter removal. I simply use a child's toothbrush, nothing fancy...find the smallest head you can find with the softest bristles. We have a Dora one for Zoe
