I put together a fact sheet with witness contact information to update the file at MPD. I read it to Officer Nickerson yesterday. It was then that he told me he was off the case. He said he would forward the information on to the animal control officer now handling the case.
I told him I had all the information in e-mail form and asked for the animal control officer's e-mail address. He did not know his e-mail address and gave me his own two department e-mail addresses. He also told me there was no FAX number at the MPD
He said he would pass on the emails to the animal control officer.
I sent the emails and one bounced back immediately. The second bounced back a few minutes ago. I spoke with Maureen and there is an MPD department FAX number on the business card the officer gave her.
This guy is a real piece of work.
