Default Hired Help Dilema=Roofers Ughhhhhhhh

Hi Everyone, wow what a day this was. Those were the good ole days when we was able to do everything ourselves without relying on hired help.

Oh good golly, roofers was to be here at day break they showed up at 8:30 managed to get the shingles torn off then wanted to leave the paper, I said nope, so they got that off, the wood is all in great shape, wanted to make sure They proceeded to leave and lo an behold flat tire on their rear left trailer tire, they were very determined they was gonna spin outa here, well wouldn't you know it three hours later and a mighty deep hole headed for China, they decided to call it quits and come back in the morning and spin it out then

Oh my poor yard, all the work I did, and now holes all over the place not to mention the gravel dumped under the wheels and scattered everywhere from all the spinning, branches, pieces of my good wood that I used for cutting out my tole wood paintings I tried to be generous thinking that it would give them some traction.

I left the situation and thought oh well, I will rototill the west side of the yard for the new lawn and just get away from the whole mess for awhile, pulled on the starter cable and whammy, it jerked back and I let loose and it spiraled and whammed me in the left chest area (breast) and ohhhhhh am all black and blue, trying to figure out what to put on it besides ice. I told Jack for sure, once the lawns are all sowed, that tiller is going up for sale outside the front gate. I want one with a lectric starter.

Hopefully I will get a good nights sleep and wake up in the morning bright eyed and raring to go, and face this situation with a smile and tonight I am saying well, we have a roof over our head, and with a prayer that it don't rain. I am so thankful that I can laugh at some of what happened today, as their was much more which I shared with my friend Connie The roofing contractor spoke english but left for many hours leaving me with them to communicate with, later I found out none of them could speak english. All I know is Si and Gracias, I can't spell that right.

What a day, what a day, so thankful that one thing I have learnt in life is lots and lots of Patience. WOW, to be able to physically do things for ourselves around home is so much to be appreciated for.
Will come back tomorrow night or the next day and let you all know how everything went, Thank the Lord for giving me a sence of humor when the going gets tough. All the beautiful aganpanthas that I planted can be replaced and we have a roof over our heads and beds to sleep in and goodness knows when Jack will get Dish NetWork hooked back up so maybe he will find himself turning the computer on and coming in to visit with you all
Thanks for letting me bend your ear and hopefully you won't think I am a grumbler Nite, nite I know this little ole lady problaby will be hopefully dreaming of things other than roofing, spinning tires and rocks, jerky rototiller starter cables. Ohhhhh forgot have to call a plumber too as they busted the water faucet for outside garden hoses, not once but three times kept backing up trying to spin their truck and trailer vehicle out of here.
