Wink Can your yorkie hold their licker?!

My two yorkie girls are different in just about every possible way, from looks to personality.

One difference is, while Mazie is our LOVEBUG who CRAVES affection ALL the time....Kiki is the one who loves to give kisses!

You can't get Kiki to sit in your lap, and she doesn't like to be petted a lot unless she is sleepy....she is a busy-body who is just too afraid she's going to MISS SOMETHING.

BUT....if you say, "Give me a kiss" or, "Give me some sugars", she comes RUNNING! She looooooves to lick lick lick your face, with a very long and fast and enthusiastic tongue. Sometimes she gets KISS ATTACKS where she just can't help it, she MUST kiss you....and she just leaps up and runs over and attacks you!

Mazie, on the other hand, while a TOTAL LAP BABY....does *not* enjoy giving or receiving kisses! She loves to be held on her back like a baby, and will lay there like that allllll night long, just soaking up the love. But if we start to pull her in close for a little kiss, she most often puts up this polite little paw to push us away. The pained expression on her face clearly says, "Um, no thank you. I've seen where that mouth has been."

When she DOES give us kisses, it's funny because they are so different from Kiki's....they are just very slow, and petal-soft, and she'll usually only give us one or two at a time, and then she's done. As opposed to Kiki, who won't stop until you feel like you've been slimed, and you have to MAKE her stop.

It's sort of sweet though, because when we come home and they do that "ecstatic yorkie" thing welcoming us, and Mazie wants to give us kisses...then we know that she *really* loves us and is excited to see us, because she doesn't usually like it!

So.....can YOUR yorkie hold its licker?!
