GREAT job with the videos. My Shi Tzu Reggie has seizures. He always knows when he's going to have one and comes and tells me so I can hold him. He is so scared. I don't know if this makes you feel better or worse, but his are actually worse than these two because his back arches in a way that shouldn't be possible. He also drools and/or spits up and his eyes roll back. The first time, I called the vet crying. I thought he was dying. The vet was so nice and told me that it's way worse on us than it is the dogs. My vet said that a lot of dogs do have seizures but they are mild or when we're not home so often go unnoticed. He chose NOT to put Reggie on medication because Reggie's do not occur often enough for the additional problems that come with the medication. Reggie sometimes has several over a few days and then will go a couple months with none. He said that until they are not stopping, coming one after another, he did not want to medicate until it was absolutely necessary.

Reggie does fine after, but he's very tired. The thing that breaks my heart, though, is that I'm sure he has them when he's home alone, and he must be so scared.

I hope you get a comforting answer. Seizures aren't fun, but if everything else is ruled out, they are not necessarily lifethreatening. Good Luck!!
