Can you take your evidence to the magistrate and have them serve a warrant on her? It would force her to identify her animals and possibly make her produce records proving how she came to possess them all. |
Small claims is a civil matter, not a criminal one. Search warrants are issued in criminal casess. Law enforcement is the only one who can request them.
Also, in CA the only thing a small court judge can order is money damages. So . . . she could sue the people and all she could hope to get if she won was an order for the value of Zeke - not Zeke.
