Officer Nickerson and I have spoken. The supervisor at animal control went to the house two hours ago. I do not know what they found or how it turned out. Officer Nickerson is no longer involved in the case.
I should say that he was very upset that people from this website called and emailed him and harassed him in such a manner that he felt he didn't want anything to do with the case anymore. I URGE people here to not get involved in sending such communications. It undermined the credibility of the case. If he received anything like I got yesterday from a poster here, I wouldn't blame him for not wanting to have anything to do with the case. I almost decided to quit helping as a result of someone harassing me via PM.
I have forwarded an email to the MPD with all relevant leads and how it resulted in that house.
