How wide is it? From the pics, it looks like it might not be big enough for Koi, unless they're small ones. You can always get beautiful goldfish though; they get big and there's fan tailed ones and other types. You need to also be concerned about how warm the water might get in the warmer months, but with the waterfall (which is lovely, BTW), it should be ok. I had a tub type of water garden for years with a very large goldfish in it and it was only 2 feet deep (but there was only 1 fish in it too). You want to make sure that there's enough aeration to support the amount of fish you keep.
