Dee, I must ask where you got you information regarding genetic problems with breeding older dogs. If dogs have any "bad stuff" in their genetic makeup, it can show up at any age. Wouldn't that be like saying if you breed them young, only the "good stuff" will come out? Age presents a health problem for females and also sperm count in older dogs.
