Health and age are a determining factor. AKC has guidelines, however, your females probably not over the age of 6 and it's also dependent on her health and vet guidance
Males, after the age of 11, the breeding must be monitored and witnessed by a vet.
There are some wonderful seminars on canine genetics, breeding/whelping that would greatly benefit you.
