If you don't have your heart set on a tiny pup, then just love him no matter how big he gets. It's really hard to say, but I think he'll probably be bigger than any 12 lbs, too, if he's already 7 lbs. If you go ahead and get him, just love him and he'll love you back for a good 15 yrs or more.
