Guess what??? I saw this on tv (I forogt which dog show - but it was a yokie). They put a gate up on the bedroom door, and the dog's bed on the other side of the gate (I think it was a hallway so that it was blocked off). The dogs can see you, but have to sleep in their own beds. The first night, they cried to get in the bedroom. It got less and less every night until the dog eventually slept in their own bed.
