Mine is very good at the come command...mostly because our trainer taught us to teach her to use that command with a positive connotation only... to never ask her to 'come' and make her do anything she doesn't like to do or associate that word with a negative action or behavior. For eg....we'll say Zoe come...she'll come we'll hug and kiss and rub her chest first then we brush her teeth lol or when she comes when asked the first time, we'll praise her with a 'good girl' or 'good come' The most it's taken her is for us to ask her to come twice.
Also, when you were teaching the come command, were there treats involved to associate that word with a good thing?
