OH YES...I remember those days...trying to leave the house, and Chelsea wants to play "tag". I remember chasing her thru the house, around the furniture, up and down the hallway.
Now that she is 2.5 yrs old, its a whole lot better. Of course, showing her a treat helps....well, ok, so I am a push over, and she KNOWS how to play her game. She is crate trained, so I just point to her crate and she walks to it...slowly...IF she feels like it...maybe....sometimes....
Her game IS different....now...finally.
Be patient, it takes time for US to be trained.
