A UTI is a urinary tract infection. Treated with antibiotics. If they suspected poisoning, why? Was he also pooping blood? Why are they recommending putting him to sleep, have they done any testing at all? Bladder stones and severe UTI's can be life threatening if not treated. The baby can develop sepsis (infection in the bloodstream) become very sick, dehydrated, and confused and can die. I hope she gets some answers. I hope this poor baby gets some relief soon.
