I've never been comfortable with NOT free feeding. Otis has always been picky and I was never successful trying to switch to feeding times. He wouldn't cooperate and I just knew he'd get hungry while I was at work for 9 hours!!! I give an overflowing quarter cup twice daily, but I have NO idea if that's correct. Good luck! Don't worry Layla, we 'thick' girls have to stick together, I could stand to lose a few pounds too.
