I know what you mean...My breeder does not sell her puppies to just anyone, and you must be 'approved' which I think is wonderful.
I loved it when my breeder e-mailed me just the other day and asked about his eating habits, etc, and she even said "Make sure you tell him I love him very much and that he better be a good boy!!!" I thought that was cute.
