I don't give Greenies anymore. Several dogs have swallowed pieces of the Greenie and its become impacted in their stomachs and the results were fatal. There has been some controversy over this topic and ultimately its each owner's decision...obviously the could swallow anything, but for me personally, I just give them Nylabones and Non-Edible Greenies to be on the safe side. IMO its impossible to be right over them to be 100% certain that they aren't swallowing any whole pieces, so I am just playing it on the safe side. |
