I hate to admit this but my first yorkie a female was sold to me for $600. She told me it was teacup and not knowing a lot about them I believed her. There is no such thing as a teacup believe me I found out the hard way.
Spirit is around 8 to 9 lbs now does that sound like a teacup LOL. My other one is 4.5 but she was one I kept from her mother's, litter.
They both mean the world to me and the size doesnt' matter. You couldn't ask for more loyal dogs.
