Your baby should be fine. If him being there overnight bothers you see if you can sign a release paper or something stating that you know the risks but still want to take him home. I had to do that with my cat when she was spayed at my vet's office. I just asked them if I could take her home that day so I can watch her overnight since no one is there at night with them. I signed a release form to take her home.
