Yes Diane. He is free to roam around inside the house. I don't want him to be caged. He sleeps on the bed beside me and my husband and that's everyday. He has his own bed though. We've always loved how he snuggle close beside us.
I tried the crate since he was three months old and until now he still uses the crate to poo. The crate is placed in the kitchen inside the house left opened all the time. He goes to poo inside the crate and until now he does. It's really good though. But he pees most of the time outside the crate, on the floor beside the each legs of the furnitures and even beside the refrigerator. He does not pee on the bed and even on carpets.
I know I should really work hard on it with very much patience. I'll try first what Janie has suggested.
