I'm not exactly sure where you are talking when you say hiney. Is it near his anus or anal glands?

If so I would say have him checked. My Bubba had a reputered anal gland earlier this year. I wish I had noticed this earlier because I could have saved him so much pain.

Maybe you empty the anal glands yourself - if so do so or have it done

I may be over reacting - due to my own circumstances
