We had Gracie, our Yorkie first then got Sampson our Maltese in January of this year. He is the dearest most well adjusted dog. While Gracie is anxious, hyper and follows me all around, EVERYWHERE and cannot seem to be by herself at any point in time, Sampson is content to sleep, play, wander and basically take care of himself. He is much more lovey dovey than Gracie - he does not mind being held and cuddled. He has LOTS of energy and is a very good playmate for Gracie. We keep saying that it is a good thing that we got Gracie, the princess, before Sampson because Gracie is such high maintenance (we love it) and Sampson is very low maintenance. He has the dearest personality - we should have named him Scamp or Rascal - he is one fiesty pup but absolutely adorable! He looks like a pure white Gracie. We are crazy about both of them.
