I feel your pain 1000%!
My district cut my position from Full Day Kindergarten teacher to AM Kindergarten only and after 4 years of this back and forth will I have a job, will I be unemployed every March I decided I was going to go back to school for a Masters in Social Work so that one day I could open a private practice which has always been another passion of mine. So I applied and enrolled in a program and was all set to teach part time and go to school full time.
Well...about two weeks ago my principal called and said there was a Grade 1 opening and she wanted me to take it. Financially speaking this is a much better option for me as I was already freaking about how we were going to pay our mortgage so I took it.
Long story short; not only am I going to be switching to a new grade and have to move all of my stuff from a huge room all the way across the school to a MUCH smaller room, I am also going to be going back to school part time, too! I am so frantic and nervous!
