I will consider this opening salvo. For the 3000 or so posters who wrote with definitive opinions that high protein diet is bad for healthy yorkies, please post your thoughts and then post a LINK supporting your comments. This should weed out the hearsay and old wives tales that appears to have dominated any kind of reasonable discussion in the matter. |
First Off I would like to start off by saying that I am not quite sure where EXACTLY you found someone saying that a high protein diet is bad for yorkies. I believe and take into consideration a lot of highly trusted and well tested opinions of people on this board. You are trying to compare apples to oranges in your statement. The internet is not always a reliable source. Secondly, the people on this board who do believe or have said at one point or another that a high proteing diet is bad for yorkies is more than likely talking from past experiences. Yes the internet has a vast search engine on this topic as well, however you need to keep in mind that this is a yorkie site, and most memebers of this site have had a lot more experience first hand dealing with these matters than the assumptions of those links you find. By saying the bolded statement above is just plain insulting.
