Mine girls only bark when in our house, but bark they do at every noise, every person who walks by, each squirrel they see, etc. I have had some success with the pennies in a can (you shake it whenever they bark and say "no barking"), but it only really works when whatever they've been barking at is no longer making noise or in their field of vision.
