I would just say be patient. I spent 11 months looking for a breeder that I trusted. Take your time and research breeders and their practices. Believe me- I know that you really want a puppy to cuddle and love ASAP, but don't rush into a bad situation. I would also say to meet the person from who you decide to buy. I drove more than 6 hours each way to get my yorkie. While the woman I bought from does ship, I was glad to be able to meet the puppies and choose not only on the "look", but also on the personality. It's also nice to see where your baby has been raised (and under what conditions!)

Keep looking and have faith that you'll find the perfect puppy. Let us know where you're from- perhaps we can give you some references.
