So I took Lucy to her first grooming appointment on Saturday morning and she had these mats on her belly and legs and also a few on her back, well the groomer said that this first grooming experience should be enjoyable for her, which I totally agreed, and said the best thing to do would be to shave her (well cut her really short) and start all over. And that's what they did, she looks like a schnauzer now because her face has regular length hair and her body is so short
and all of her little black puppy hair is gone
