Please don't think we are being rude to you. We just want you to know that there is a lot of responsibility that goes along with breeding. It takes years of researching your chosen breed and knowledge of genetics to breed the right way - as does it take a lot of researching and mentoring about breeding dogs in general. There are so many factors, so many risks, so many things that can go wrong...we just want you to really consider this. Responsible breeding isn't just putting a male and a female together and letting them breed and it's much more than about size. A responsible breeder chooses a male and female based on their qualities and lineage and chooses to breed a pair because they should produce puppies that improve the breed. If you're really interested in breeding, start talking to others that breed, attend dog shows, find a mentor. When you are ready invest in a quality breeding pair that have been shown and proven to meet the standard. No one thinks less of your dog because she is mixed - I think we love all dogs here - we just don't all agree with what a lot of "breeders" choose to do such as breeding tinies and mixed breed dogs intentionally. I know we would all LOVE to see pictures and hear more about your baby. Just because we don't agree with breeding mixed breed dogs intentionally does not mean we don't like them - I think there are some adorable mixes out there.
