My heart is just aching. I got an email last week about this little girl in my area (I had my search saved when I was looking for a male when I got Scout). She just seemed to be calling to me from this picture. I emailed the rescue group about her cause she just looked so pitiful. They said she was turned in because her owners "could not afford her upkeep". But they told me her adoption was already in progress. I told myself that it was as it should be because I really have my hands full with my two and it wouldn't be fair to them to add another dog, one that might have issues.

They emailed me today and said her adoption didn't go through. So now my heart and my logic are having a struggle.
