A few weeks ago,in my first post, I told you that I was waiting to see if my breeders mommy dog was going to have any girls in this litter. Her past two have been all boys and I was wanting a little girl. Well....she had two girls and one boy! They were born on July 15th. Mommy had a hard time though. She actually was carrying four puppies but one died before it was born.
This made mommy very sick and she had to have an emergency hysterectomy ( sp ? ) I was so worried that when she got home she may not want to or be able to care for her other babies ( the breeder was caring for them while mommy was away ) but as soon as she got home she went right to her babies and started nursing and caring for them. She is such a good little mommy.
Its still going to be a little while before my princess is ready to home with me,so I haven't bought many things for her yet. What would you suggest the basics I should have to begin with? I have a pretty good idea,but I don't want to overlook anything.
I am so excited/nervous! I've been reading everything Yorkie I can get my hands on ( about 80% of it has came from YT! ) I've always wanted a little girl I can spoil!
And, oh my goodness.....Names!! I have about 100 or so I'm considering! LOL! So if anyone wants to throw a few more into the pot,feel free!
